We know that when w
e put first things first, everything else falls into place—and grows stronger.
The order is non-negotiable:
God.
Spouse.
Kids.
We strive to put God first.
When He is first, our love for our wives and children becomes stronger, deeper, and truer.
Our marriage come next. No one—nothing—takes priority over that union, except God Himself.
Then our children.
We lead with strength and wisdom.
We provide for our family, even when it’s tough.
We protect our family without hesitation.

Physical strength matters. We lead by example and teach our wives and children to care for the gift of a body that God gave us.
We decide what they learn, who teaches them, and the values they carry.

The 12 commitments of
fathers for freedom
1) I will remember that the greatest influence I will ever have will be within the walls of my own home.
2) I will continually learn to be a better husband and father.
3) I will start with changing myself. My influence as a father and husband will increase as I work on myself.
4) I will model for my sons and daughters what a good marriage is by treating their mother – my wife – with love and respect.
5) I will be faithful to my wife.
6) I will put first things first. I will be faithful and loyal to God, then to my wife, then to my children, before everything else – even work and other good endeavors. I will remember that the order is crucial. One of the best things I can do for my children is to prioritize the way I treat their mother – I will pursue her, date her regularly, and show her love. Putting God first and then my wife will show my children how to have a strong and happy family and marriage.
7) I will learn from other good men and then mentor other men be better fathers and husbands.
8) I will work hard to support my family. I will choose and prioritize employment that allows me to spend more time with my family. I will remember that the most important legacy is not financial but spiritual – I will live and teach correct principles. I will remember that teaching principles and time with family is more important than money.
9) I will remember that my children’s education is 100% my responsibility – not the state’s or anyone else’s. If I choose to outsource some of that education to a public school, a private school, or a homeschool co-op or other group, I will be vigilant and selective about whom I trust with that responsibility. I will remember I have many options. I will remember that my right and responsibility to parent my children comes from God.
10) I will lead my family with kindness and by example. I will remember that I can be both firm and kind. I will remember that my children need boundaries and that it is my job to set those boundaries with kindness and by my example.
11) I will strive to see the good in others and to be a peacemaker.
12) I will keep myself physically strong and mentally awake. I will use my strength to protect my family. I will not be the aggressor. Everyone will be safer when I am around because I use my strength to protect those less able to protect themselves.
Our Vision
We envision a future where solid families are restored to their rightful place: the cornerstone of strong communities, resilient societies, and enduring nations.
Today, too many families face fragmentation, with parents absent, sidelined, or stripped of their influence. In ideal circumstances, fathers–together with their wives– lead, provide, and protect. As parents step up united, the family–and through outpouring and influence, the community–flourish, and freedom endures.
At Fathers for Freedom, we see millions of parents stepping boldly into their God-given roles as providers, protectors, and leaders. We see families prioritizing their sacred calling as husbands, wives, and parents above all but God Himself. We see mothers and fathers cherishing and honoring the one another—as a living testament to selfless love, modeling for their children a blueprint of respect and commitment they will one day carry into their own lives.
We see mothers and fathers united, reclaiming their rightful place as the CEOs of their children’s education—instilling truth, wisdom, and timeless principles, not fleeting societal values, to guide the next generation with unshakeable clarity.
